Who is Laka Mark?

Hello, my name is Marc-Antoine Lacasse and I'm the person behind the Laka Mark brand. Welcome to my online store! I'm originally from Bulgaria. I was adopted at a very young age by parents from Quebec.

The origin of the name Laka Mark

The origin of my artist name is simple. When I was adopted by my Canadian parents. The Canadian embassy in Romania made a spelling mistake in my last name. They wrote my name like this (Petar-Alen Lakass). They took my father's first name, it's Alain. I changed my citizenship from Bulgaria to Canadian. My friends call me (Marc), because it's shorter to say Marc rather than Marc-Antoine. I decided to take one (Lakass) and remove two (SS) and keep Laka and take my nickname Mark.

My sources of inspiration

From a very young age, I was inspired by drawing and music. In the family, we are artists. My mother draws and paints and my father does photography and video. My father was already a college professor. He was my teacher in some courses in my art and literature program. Video games were also a good source of inspiration to create my artistic universe. What I want to share with you with original products on the store.
