I recently added a review system to the shop. It's a standard feature that many online stores implement. The goal is to help other customers make the right product choices. Another advantage is that, for me, it allows me to improve the products and get an overall view of how customers find the in-store experience.

A limitation of Shopify :(

When you create your store on the Shopify platform, there's no default rating and review system that customers can leave on product pages. I had to partner with an external company to implement this kind of system on my store. I chose Judge.me. I don't have full control over the information. To respect customer privacy, I had to test several product rating platforms before announcing it publicly. I found one that adheres to codetermination and also verifies that the customer's feedback has been properly considered. This prevents spamming or inappropriate reviews.

Participation optional

I will respect your choice not to leave a review. This feature is not promoted. I am not asking you to confirm your order by writing a review of one or more products.

Validation of reviews

The validation system only displays reviews from customers who have purchased the product. If you don't see your review, it means some information is missing from my history: your first and last name and email address, which are needed for automatic review validation. If this is the case, I will manually add the missing information so the system can link your purchase to your review. You can contact me via the contact form or on social media and have your order number ready.

I don't want to share my real identity

If you wish to write a review without revealing your identity, you must check the "Anonymous Review" box in the "About You" section. You will be asked for your email address and full name. The system will search your purchase history to see if you have ordered this product. This is the validation system; only reviews from customers who have purchased a product are accepted. If you have checked the "Anonymous Review" box, it will simply say "Anonymous" above your comment on public pages.
